Inside the Boatshed, we’ve aimed to create a space that feels both comfortable and considered, with a focus on natural materials and simple, thoughtful living.

You’ll find high-quality cotton linens, soft robes, and a calm, uncluttered environment designed for rest and ease.

Over time, we’ve become more aware of how much the small details matter—particularly when it comes to comfort and sensitivities. Many of the choices in the space reflect that awareness, with a preference for natural materials and gentle, well-considered products wherever possible.

A Spacious Sanctuary for Groups

Experience the full grandeur of The Boat Shed, a refined and thoughtfully curated space designed for families or groups of up to six. Featuring a breathtaking 9-meter apex ceiling and massive spanning sliders, the main living area floods with natural light, offering expansive views of our rural 5-acre property. This is a high-end retreat where modern luxury meets rural peace.

Sleeping Arrangements (Up to 6 Guests)

The Boat Shed is configured for comfort and flexibility across two levels, all dressed in Egyptian cotton sheets, alpaca duvets, and duck down pillows:

• Mezzanine Floor: A stylish, open-plan loft area featuring a King-sized bed and a private 3-piece bathroom. Please note: As a mezzanine, this sleeping area is not fully enclosed, offering a sense of openness while remaining part of the main volume.

• Ground Floor: Two generous bedrooms. The master features a Super King-sized bed, while the second room offers a Queen-sized bed.

• Luxury Touches: All guests enjoy plush cotton robes and premium towels.

Living & Dining

The heart of The Boat Shed is the large open-plan living area beneath the soaring 9m ceiling.

• Kitchen & Dining: The space includes cooking facilities and a substantial dining table for shared meals, overlooking the rural landscape.

• Convenience: A laundry is available within the open living space for your convenience.

• Work & Connect: High-speed Starlink Wi-Fi and dedicated desk space and printer, make this an ideal "work-from-anywhere" headquarters.

Outdoor Living & Wellness

• Step out onto the large wrap-around deck to extend your living space outdoors.

• Al Fresco Dining: Enjoy the outdoor fireplace (which doubles as a BBQ) and two outdoor kitchens, one equipped with a dedicated BBQ.

• Wellness Zone: Unwind in the Swedish dry/steam sauna or refresh in the plunge pool, temperature-controlled from a crisp 3°C to a warm 40°C.

• Future Feature: Plans are underway for a unique snail-shaped outdoor shower for private al fresco rinsing; in the meantime, a simple outdoor shower is available.

• Wander through the citrus groves, orchards, and herb gardens, or follow the path to the upper pond and small waterfall. If the trees are generous during your stay, you're welcome to enjoy a piece of seasonal fruit as you explore, there are generally an abundance of herbs in the herb garden. 

Parking

There is a dedicated parking space directly outside The Boat Shed, with flat, easy access from arrival to departure. Travelling with a boat? Additional overflow parking is available on the property. 

Hosts & Services

We live on-site and are available to tailor your stay at The Boat Shed.

• Catering: We can arrange fresh provisions or accommodate specific dietary needs (Keto, Vegan, etc.)

• Catering: Pre-stocking and platters available (no cooked meals).

• Housekeeping: For stays of 10 days or more, mid-stay cleaning with fresh linens is available.

• Wellness: Book an in-house therapeutic massage for soft tissue relief or sports recovery.
